TUESDAY REVIEWS-DAY – BOOK REVIEW – UNLEASHING LOVE by JESSICA R. PATCH

What could be easier than puppy sitting? For Emma Kate Lambert, a professional dog groomer, it’s a piece of cake. And that it’s her man crush who’s asking is just the cherry on top.

To Griffin Noble there can’t be much difference between caring for a puppy and caring for a child. Desperate, he approaches Emma Kate. And for the generous fee he’s offering, she jumps at the chance.

There’s just one small hitch. It’s not a puppy. It’s Griffin’s deceased sister’s child, and he’s clueless about caring for her. Emma Kate can’t stand the thought of the baby girl going to foster care—not to mention, the generous fee he’s offered—and accepts the position.

Two different worlds with one common goal. And two different ideas of how to achieve it.

Ms. Patch mixes doggie biscuits and caviar for a million dollar story. Emma Kate conjures up the word ‘flibbertigibbet,” when in fact, she is highly intelligent and business savvy—with a tender and generous heart. Griffin conjures up the word ‘money,’ because, well, he has it. But deep in his protective façade lies a tender heart. Will he remain inside his shell and take the million dollar reins of his father’s corporation? Will Emma Kate’s heart heal and make room for the attraction between them? Or will they both run back to their safe worlds, loveless and alone?

I received a free copy of this book, but was under no obligation to read the book or to post a review. I offer my review of my own free will. The opinions expressed in my review are my honest thoughts and reaction to this book.

Jessica R. Patch lives in the mid-south where she pens inspirational contemporary romance and romantic suspense novels. When she’s not hunched over her laptop or going on adventurous trips in the name of research with willing friends, you can find her watching way too much Netflix with her family and collecting recipes to amazing dishes she’ll probably never cook.
