FRONT PORCH FELLOWSHIP – PEACE AND JOY
Seems we need some peace and joy right about now. So much strife and division, and most folks are just honest people who are legitimately scared or concerned.
I could quote good Scripture about peace
And there’s plenty about joy.
But it goes deeper. It goes to identity. It goes to knowing who you are and what your purpose is. How do I know this? Because for the first time in my life (and that’s 57 years) I’m living it.
As I come to know Him more, I come to know me more. And knowing myself, I know my purpose.
And there is peace in that my friend.
And my peace, my purpose, my identity is for more than my personal peace and joy only. My very life and existence is for Kingdom purpose, and now is the time.
Overcoming fear, conquering all doubt, Queen Esther stepped out in great faith at great risk.
And in doing so, saved her people and heritage.
Do you have peace in the midst of turmoil that surrounds us? Is your joy full? Overflowing even? Do you know your identity? Your purpose? Father does. Ask Him and He’ll show you.
And that is peace. That is joy.
