BOOK REVIEW – RELUCTANTLY MARRIED by VICTORINE LIESKE
BOOK REVIEW – RELUCTANTLY MARRIED
She didn’t want a reality show. She sure didn’t want to do a reality show with him. And she definitely didn’t want to marry him—on air.
Megan Holloway is the co-host for Adam Warner’s morning show. The sparks fly from the beginning. And Megan can’t wait to get away, and have her own show somewhere. Preferably L.A. somewhere far away.
But fans comment online, and ratings skyrocket, the producer hears the cha-ching of dollar signs. Megan and Adam’s on-air banter, is upgraded to up-air dating, and a network gig ending in marriage. A real one.
But it’s all fake. None of it is real.
What happens when those fake feeling become real? Will Megan and Adam realize their love? Or will they go their separate ways—each with their $100K in pocket?
Ms. Lieske’s characters banter on the page is so quirky and authentic. Megan and Adam are such realistic characters, acting and reacting to the scenario foisted upon them. As television personae, they make the best of it. The antics they get themselves into, the real issues that flew in their faces, and their emotions sparring for credit against the role they were supposed to be playing. I felt the tension rising as they fought their emotions, and I felt the heartache as they both tried to deny how they truly felt. I could feel the heat in each kiss, and the desire for more on each page. I enjoyed reading this book like I would enjoy watching their show.
I purchased this book on Amazon. I offer my review of my own volition, The opinions expressed in my review are my own honest thoughts and reaction to this book.
