Dead Man Falling was my initiation to Desmond Cory and Johnny Fedora. Not usually a fan of spy stories, I was pulled right in to the plot. I’m sure I’ll read more of Mr. Cory’s works. The pace was brisk, moving with momentum, and very focused. Not too many extraneous details, more action, and plenty of conversation. I thoroughly enjoyed the jargon of the day. As the climax built, and Fedora scaled the mountain, I could feel the urgency of his quest, and no small degree of panic when I learned who the killer was. Riveting action right up to the very end.
